Job Summary:

Promptly and accurately completes all assignments related to the organization's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Compliance Program in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, and agency guidance.

Duties Include:

Responsible for maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), and USA Patriot Act requirements.

Attends applicable regulatory training, seminars, and/or conferences to maintain a current, thorough understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues.

Achieves and maintains assigned accreditation(s), including the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).

Assists the BSA Officer with maintaining the customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) programs.

Promptly and accurately processes all BSA system-generated reports and alerts.

Promptly and accurately processes all required OFAC checks, including International ACH Transactions, non-member disbursements, new account opening, and the addition of individuals to existing accounts.

Monitors accounts to identify potential Money Service Businesses and/or any other restricted or prohibited activity.

Assists the Loss Prevention department with completion of Suspicious Activity Reports.

Assists the BSA Officer with activities related to FinCEN 314a and 314b information sharing.

Ensures every Suspicious Activity Report and Currency Transaction Report (CTR) is completed accurately and filed in accordance with reporting deadlines.

Identifies and reports aggregate transactions and cash purchases of negotiable instruments as required.

Reviews email notifications and other informal reports of potentially suspicious activity and conducts applicable investigations.

Monitors high-risk accounts as appropriate.

Interacts with the internal and external auditors as required.
