Position Summary: The Business Analyst works with Business Solutions Managers and other stakeholders to understand business needs and elicit high-level requirements. Leverage new and existing systems and business processes to provide process improvements and organizational effectiveness across the bank.

Essential Functions:

  • Works with Business Solutions Managers and other stakeholders to understand business needs and elicit high-level requirements.
  • Leverage existing systems and business processes to provide enhanced business capabilities to current business processes.
  • Gather requirements on newly submitted project requests and support discovery efforts to understand current state through collection and analysis of baseline data.
  • Understand the customer journey to identify opportunities and define user requirements.
  • Acts as a liaison between business owners and development team(s).
  • Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize business demands.
  • Promote consistency and usability standards to define and execute test cases.
  • Support the product owner by helping analyze the business domain, stock the product backlog and groom the product backlog.
  • Convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences and project a credible image in communications and presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
  • Provide analytical support to process development and improvement efforts.
  • Perform 3rd party product research and present recommendations to management.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training and follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Software and workflow design and business process improvement and analysis experience preferred
  • Ability to conduct small and large group presentations.
  • Previous training experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.

Working Environment:

This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.
