FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Business Analyst Senior in Owings Mills, MD to develop large and complex solutions that require analysis and research. Work on multiple projects as a project leader and as a subject matter expert. Work on projects and issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple analytical areas and business segments. Conduct various types of research and analysis to support business operations of an internal business segment, division, group or line of business. Assist management in resolving business issues in an effective and productive manner. Design, document and re-engineer business processes and publish business metrics results. Assign employees to the Business Systems Analyst job, Software Quality Analyst, and Support Representative roles. Perform analyses of the business goals, objectives and needs for appropriate FIS segment, division, group or line of business. Perform research and analysis to support business operations and present findings to manager or project leader. Plan and design business processes and make recommendations in order to improve and support business systems and activities to improve efficiency. Utilize systems and data to efficiently resolve business issues. Calculate or estimate costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish viability or return on investment. Analyze and document business processes and metrics and identify improvement opportunities. Perform special projects upon request. Responsible for interviewing end users, subject matter experts and developing business requirements documents and functional specifications documents. Adopted Agile Scrum, an iterative and incremental methodologies to define and manage project requirements. Responsible for creating user stories and conducting strategy sessions to understand client needs. Perform Gap analysis by identifying existing technologies and documenting enhancements to meet the end-state requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience: gathering, documenting, and analyzing technical system specifications and functional requirements; formulating system and software test strategies, writing test plans, and executing test initiatives; building SQL queries to extract, update, and analyze data from relational databases, complex data analysis, and data modeling; working with SDLC processes including Agile Scrum, Waterfall, MS Visio, and requirements management and traceability tools including JIRA, Rally, and HP ALM; working with Robotics Process Automation process and support developers to provide solutions for application issues; and utilizing knowledge of Robotic Automation and Intelligent Character Recognition tools including Blue Prism, Hyperscience and Able to troubleshoot issues. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
