The Business Development Director is an enthusiastic and authentic Fiore brand ambassador who is responsible for developing new business opportunities for Fiore & Sons. The BD Director actively seeks to understand how the values and goals of potential clients best align with Fiore & Sons and works to create a partnership based on those shared values and goals. The Business Development Director develops new sales strategies and business plans that expose Fiore s values and history of excellence to developers, general contractors and subcontractors to create long term relationships within the community and the construction industry. The BD Director is in charge of locating, developing, and maintaining business relationships that responsibly increase Fiore s market share.

TOTAL COMPENSATION
$118,300 to 184,100 annually, depending on individualized compensation analysis including experience, tenure, skills, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Explores, identifies, and understands target sectors to develop current and future business strategies that match future clientele in the Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and other sectors to maintain market demands for all services.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership of the best possible customer experience and spending the time to understand the true needs of prospective clients, develop and negotiate contracts, and integrate contract requirements with business operations.
  • Builds solid and successful relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors in order to expand markets and client base while championing the Fiore brand.
  • Cultivates positive interactions and relationships and successfully collaborates with Operations, Estimating, and Project Management teams, as well as team leaders, managers, and executives to evaluate business strategies and ensure new customer expectations are met.
  • Develops ways to improve the internal and external customer experience and builds brand loyalty through trust and competence.
  • Researches prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursues leads and follows through to successful agreements.
  • Establishes strong metrics and fully understands how they align with company strategic objectives and maintains awareness of records of sales, revenue, and other important data.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners to explore new business opportunities.
  • Retains and grows existing clients and accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.
  • Arranges business meetings and face to face dialogue between prospective clients and the Fiore team.
  • Manages and oversees Marketing team and projects.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of Fiore competencies and our competition s capabilities to enhance our position in the industry.
  • Executes on all business plans and sales objectives.
  • Develops and maintains Customer Relations Management (CRM) Program.
  • Passionately promotes and mirrors the Fiore Way through FIORE PRIDE core values.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Required: A Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent degree with proven background in business development with at least 5 years of successful experience.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Civil Construction industry

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time, including uneven terrain on work sites if needed. Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally for office supplies, filing and storage. Ability to manipulate paperwork and read a computer screen, operate computer peripherals and general office equipment for extended durations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
**
Primarily office-based, with varying temperatures and extended screen time. Potential for outdoor working environments with exposure to variant weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.) and muddy ground conditions, as well as uneven terrain.
