Job Opportunity – Business Development Manager with Feldkamp Marketing

This is a hybrid position with requirements to be in person for specific needs to the business; candidates must live within the Cincinnati area.
Feldkamp Marketing is looking for two Business Development Managers for the Grocery and Vitamin lines of business, that will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company, can think critically and demonstrate the ability to execute strategies.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Responsible for achievement of business objectives for the category/brands: sales, merchandising, distribution, shelving and promotional display activity.
- Ability to lead a team of either direct or indirect reports, providing accurate, well-organized data in a timely manager.
- Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships to grow business and help company expand.
- Think critically when planning to assure project success.
- Build productive relationships with clients as well as key Category personnel at Kroger.
- Lead new item meetings, sales materials, product samples and planogram development.
- Ability to convert data into solid strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Solid Excel and PowerPoint program skills.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys interacting with people. Additionally, you must:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 – 4 years equivalent experience; required
- 3 – 5 years in CPG/Retail B2B Sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in business development, sales, prioritizing and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Focused and goal oriented.
