About the Opportunity
As the Business Developer Manager at Monin, you will develop new business and support existing business in the Southwest region. Currently, the SW region consists of 5 states, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and New Mexico, with approximately $20M in sales volume. An added responsibility is making and creating effective sales presentations, evaluating potential opportunities, establishing operator marketing programs, hands-on selling that shows Monin’s quality and value, and a solution-based selling approach. The ideal candidate for this role will take their expert technical knowledge about the flavouring industry's highest quality products to end users and executives and demonstrate how to satisfy their guests while increasing their bottom line through our consultative approach.
What You’ll Do
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Manage the broker sales agency
- Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products

Other Qualifications & Considerations
- About five years of proven sales experience in food service and/or specialty coffee companies
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities
- Be proactive, and organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments
- Overnight travel approximately 40-50%
- Familiarity with MS Office
