Do you have a passion for empowering clients with the power of marketing and commerce tools to support their success? As a Business Development Representative (“BDR”), you’ll apply our socially impactful mission to create, cultivate and expand revenue-generating partnerships with major consumer brands. The BDR will serve a critical role in generating new business opportunities. Through strategy, strong communications and sales skills, and resilience, the BDR will lead outbound sales efforts to acquire new customers and create lasting, satisfying and profitable relationships. Our goal is to deliver value to the greater military community, and the BDR is responsible for overall client satisfaction and revenue growth in our new B2B customer channels.The BDR will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of commerce and API-driven integration services we provide and how they are sold and fulfilled by understanding our documented products and services.

Relevant Skills: This role requires self-starter with a growth mindset to build a new business pipeline while exciting your new clients. You will work directly with them, and stand as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals.

What You''ll Do

  • Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, and partner often with Account Executives and other B2B and marketing team members
  • Take charge of outbound deal generation, and generate new business pipeline growth.
  • Represent the product and marketing capabilities of WeSalute across a diverse range of customers.
  • Qualify customers' needs, speak to their return on investment (ROI), and learn how to anticipate and prepare for objections.
  • Managing a high volume of accounts and being accountable for maintaining annual contract value (ACV) growth goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ yrs of professional sales experience prospecting and cold calling into an extensive list of accounts.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Consistent achievement of year-over-year quota attainment in new revenue
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Gmail, Docs, Drive etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.

First 30 Days

  • You'll immediately build a prospecting strategy with goals, tactics, and resources to implement your plan.
  • You will consult with customers on our technical integrations and marketing capabilities to help them reach their business goals.
  • You'll be a leading voice for the B2B sales team, representing the customer and business objectives in a fast-paced, collaborative and fun remote work environment.
  • You'll become familiar with our roadmap, vision, and mission.
  • You'll meet all the fellow team members and introduce your role and how you will help move the company and fellow team members forward.
  • You'll frequently meet with the Sales and Marketing Teams and have weekly 1-on-1s with your supervisor.

First 90 Days

  • You'll create an annual sales plan with revenue projections
  • You'll build a pipeline strategy and its implementation through our CRM tools
  • You'll provide guidance to our marketing team to create compelling sales enablement tools
  • You'll hit your first quarterly sales goals!

Compensation

  • $65,000 - 70,000 USD
  • Eligible for bonuses and incentives

Internet Access Requirement

As a technology services company internet access and high-speed internet is a requirement to perform employment duties.
