The Opportunity

Provides support to Project Controls professionals by maintaining and reporting information. Collects, enters, and updates data in cost and schedule management spreadsheets and databases. Sets up initial templates for data input and report generation. Participates in weekly project controls team meetings to assist in recording action plans and documentation. Interacts with internal and external clients as assigned including clients, vendors, subcontractors and joint venture partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works directly with project team to collect project related data and enter into data management spreadsheets.
  • Works directly with project team to obtain and input schedule information into scheduling database.
  • Maintains cost management spreadsheet for data input and report generation.
  • Participates in weekly project controls team meetings; assists in recording corrective action plans and trend documentation.
  • Analyze data to identify data integrity issues and takes ownership to resolve issues.
  • Participates in project controls team meetings to develop corrective action plans and aids team in decision making process; makes team aware of deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Assists in monthly project reporting including collecting data, verifying accuracy, and coordinating resolution of reporting issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Some college coursework or degree preferred in areas such as business, construction management, or engineering.

Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of computer operations and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Word)

  • Analyzes data to identify data integrity issues and take ownership to resolve them.

  • Proficiency with Power BI Reporting

  • Strong knowledge of SQL query coding

  • Experience upgrading a current process through the use of tools including Access, Excel VBA or Power BI

  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues independently

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma required.

Experience:

Experience related to dealing with information and/or computer systems is required. Thorough understanding of how project controls related information is processed and maintained.
