This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.
This position is part of PNC's Tempus Technologies organization. As a Business Systems Analyst Consultant, you will be part of the Product Design & Architecture team where you will be paired with a Software Architect and work alongside developers to create functional specifications on enterprise level complex projects. In this position, you will be responsible for facilitating and leading presentations and meetings, where you will discuss business requirements and designs to ensure that they are meeting stakeholder objectives and goals.
Due to the nature of the position, we are seeking candidates who have a background in gathering and documenting business requirements. Preferred candidates will have the ability to create workflows as well as functional specifications and processes utilizing the concepts of Agile. Candidates should also be strong communicators who have the ability to present to a multitude of partners, both technical and non-technical, who could be internal to PNC and Tempus or client facing. Experience using Jira is also preferred.
Job Description
Provides solutions for IT and business management on applying technology to business opportunities, planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.
Participates in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements .
Monitors client experiences and feedback on the use of business applications; Enhanced system productivity, as needed .
Provides senior level consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results .
Analyzes, defines and documents clients requirements, and revises existing systems logic challenges, as necessary .

Technical Writing/Documentation – Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability to write paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes, applications, etc.)
Workflow Analysis – Knowledge of and ability to manage IT work activities, processes and progress within a system to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
