BUSSER Job Description / Requirements

Primary Job Functions:

• Properly clear, clean and sanitize all tables and dining room areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room.
• Maintain a clean and organize dish machine area.
• Operate dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications.

• Use proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine.
• Restock all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Remove all garbage and linen.
• Keep storage areas and parking lot clean and organized.
• Performs additional responsibilities, as requested by the management team at any time.

Certifications and/or Testing Required:

• Maintains Texas Food Handler’s Certificate

Job Requirements:

• Comprehensive understanding of the English language.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
• Required to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
• Required to purchase appropriate uniform upon hiring.
• Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines.
• Knowledge of basic dish machine operations.

Physical Demands

• This position will spend 100% of the time standing and working in congested areas
• Must be able to withstand exposure to cold, heat, and water.
• Must be able to withstand continuous walking, standing, bending and climbing stairs.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds when needed.
• Must be able to life, carry, push and/or pull up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Smoking is not permitted on the premises.
