Salary Range:
Seattle: $72,193 - $99,000 + bonus
Tacoma/Portland: $66,177 - $91,000 + bonus

What’s the Opportunity?
We are seeking a full-time, mid-level CAD Designer based in our Seattle, Tacoma, or Portland offices. Join our national CAD Team supporting a wide range of civil, environmental, and structural engineering projects. We are interested in a candidate that has the capacity to grow, is a quick learner, is detail-orientated, is a committed team player, and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Working directly with engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape architects to perform CAD design and develop deliverables for projects.
- Preparing construction plan drawings and report figures
- Converting CAD drawings from outside consultants or agencies for internal use
- Comfortable working with bathymetric and topographic data and importing third-party survey data to create existing conditions backgrounds and digital TIN surfaces for 3D modeling.
- Understands and visualizes overall civil/geotechnical engineering concepts, such as grading, and translating abstract concepts to design figures and drawings.
- Performs measurements and material take-offs from CAD models to assist with construction contract modifications and cost estimates.
What Are We Looking For?
Ideal candidates will have the following:
Required:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Proficient with managing redline edits with Bluebeam and/or Acrobat.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel
Preferred
- Experience in environmental, engineering, or natural resources consulting
- Experience with MicroStation and ArcGIS a plus
