Are you experienced in using AutoCAD and Inventor and want to showcase your skills? If so, we want to speak to you! USEMCO Inc. is seeking a CAD Designer to provide detail drawings of company products utilizing computer aided drafting equipment.
1st Shift/Full-Time: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Competitive Starting Pay: $19.00 - $22.00/hr., BOE
Working Conditions: Not a remote position

ABOUT USEMCO
Since 1963 USEMCO has been an acknowledged leader in the custom design and fabrication of package pump stations for wastewater and clean water and control systems as well as specialty manufacturing of tanks used for water, chemical and petroleum products. Electrical control systems and panels range from simplex constant speed motor applications to variable frequency drive panels and motor control centers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide designs and detail drawing services of company product components utilizing computer aided design equipment.
- Prepare layout drawings of pump station packaging and electrical schematics, utilizing computer aided design equipment.
- Contact vendors and sales representatives for information required by the design process.
- Contact company product managers and production personnel for information required by the design process.
- Maintain hard-copy library of pump station, tank and miscellaneous fabrication drawings, retrieving drawing copies, as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires education generally equivalent to an 2 year associate degree in computer aided design and 6 to 12 months related experience in AutoCAD software techniques. Would be beneficial to have experience in AutoCAD Inventor or equivalent.
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED INCLUDE THE ABILITY TO:
- Read and interpret documents such as product and design related correspondence.
- Write reports and drafting related correspondence.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Make calculations relating to drawing procedures.
- Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Possess good oral communication skills to discuss drafting issues with vendors, customers, and production and design personnel.
