What'll You Get to Do
You are one of the eleven performers on a cross -functional team. Your team is able to perform software design, development, test, and deployment all by itself. Other people on the Team include Team Coach who facilitates your meetings and the Product Owner who is the voice of the customer. With everyone on the same team, you realize what it really means to be agile.
Your team is synchronized with several other teams just like yours and they form the Agile Release Train (ART). Sure, there are interteam dependencies but your coach and their coach smooth things out so it's not a big deal for you to implement.
The ART is guided by a consortium consisting of Release Train Engineer, Product Management, and System Architect while the whole program is managed by the Business Owners.

As a Software Engineer on the Agile Team Member, your responsibilities will include:
You'll bring these qualifications: MUST HAVE
- TS/SCI Preferred; Polygraph Preferred
10+ years of experience
Develop software to achieve customer expectations
Collaborate on design, development, test, and integration
Understand the Software Development life-cycle
Experience developing software using a DevOps/DevSecOps
Knowledge of high level programming and scripting languages
Connect with the Customer through:
Building empathy with the customer
Participation in product definition
Designing and executing experiments
Plan the work through active participation in:
Program Increment Planning
Team planning through SAFe Scrum or SAFe Team Kanban
Refining the Team Backlog
Deliver value:
Frequently integrate and test
Regularly sybchronize with the rest of the train (program)
Build the continuous delivery pipeline
Release frequently
Get feedback:
• Find pathways to the customer
• Frequently validate technical concerns
Improve relentlessly:
• Run routine improvement events
• Address significant issues immediately

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $101,800-$218,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
