We are currently interviewing for Pyrometry Technicians in Berlin, CT.
- 7am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

The Pyrometry Technician responsibilities include
:
- Perform temperature uniformity surveys, instrument calibration, and system accuracy checks as directed.
- Prepare furnaces for surveys.
- Complete and review pyrometry documentation.
- Read and understand Quality Manual and related procedures.
- Bring any irregularities, discrepancies or concerns to supervisor immediately.
- Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping.
- Must be willing to travel to various plants within the region assigned.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months experience in thermal processing. Experience with the GMS, AMS 2750, and customer pyrometry specifications are required.
- A minimum of 20 classroom training hours and 80 on-the-job training hours specific to pyrometry. On-the-job experience to be used in lieu of training under certain conditions. A written test is required to demonstrate proficiency.
- Must have knowledge by experience or training of basic math, word processing, computer applications including Microsoft Office.
