Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00/hr with room for growth
This position is currently 100% remote!
Position Purpose:
The purpose of the Call Center Representative is to handle inbound and outbound calls. The Call Center Representative is accountable for the delivery of high-quality professional services in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes for the assigned client.
Position Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ideal Candidates must be located local to Indianapolis, IN
- Conduct inbound/outbound line support (i.e. welcome calls, benefit updates, health risk screening) and provide the requested service
- Utilize current reference materials to assist and resolve any member inquiries
- Document all issues and resolutions within computer system
- Provide customers with product and service information
- Process required data request such as orders, forms and applications in accordance with specified guidelines
- Identify and escalate issues to approppriate party when necessary
- Route calls to appropriate resource
- Meet department metrics & call quota set by supervisors
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
Knowledge/Experience:
- Customer service driven with a passion for helping others with a motivated team
- High school education or equivalent
- 1-2 years of strong customer service experience preferably in a call center environment
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Minimum typing skills of 35-40 words per minute (wpm)
- Proficient in Microsoft word, spreadsheet operations, and basic internet browser use
- Comfortable working with multiple computer screens
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exellent phone skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse populations
- Ability to think critically, problem solve, and adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to multi-task
- Medicaid managed care of insurance industry preferred
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions and accomplish goals.
Required Work Hours
A minimum of forty (40) hours per week - extra hours as may be necessary to complete job duties.
We offer a variety of shifts incuding days, evenings & weekends.
Physical Requirements
The Call Center Representative must be able to speak, hear, see, read, write, type, dial, reach, and bend.
