Campaign Manager
Job description
The Race
Lashrecse Aird is a mother of school-age boys, a wife and working families’ champion. She served three terms in the Virginia House of Delegates (2016-2022). The daughter of young working-class parents, Lashrecse grew up experiencing firsthand every harsh reality of income inequality. Her unique perspective and family history have driven her legislative advocacy, earning her a reputation as a courageous and indefatigable champion for social, racial, economic and environmental justice issues.
As Delegate, Lashrecse passed history-making legislation and achieved real results. Now Lashrecse wants to join the Virginia Senate to represent newly drawn Senate District 13, and become the deciding vote to protect reproductive health care access in Virginia. But first, Lashrecse needs to win an incredibly competitive primary against the only anti-choice Democrat in the Senate. Winning requires a strong, well-funded, people-powered campaign. That’s where you come in.
