Be part of the Saint Therese difference! We are seeking a full-time Campus Pastoral Care Lead to serve seniors with compassionate, supportive care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers.

Position: Full-time day hours Monday - Friday

Location Information

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury.

Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 224 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care.

Responsibilities: The Pastoral Care Lead is a member of the interdisciplinary team who provides supervision and guidance to the pastoral care department in executing spiritual care, while simultaneously providing direct spiritual care to residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of an accredited clinical pastoral care experience, Bachelor's in Theology, pastoral ministry program, or its equivalent required.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Catholic background preferred
  • The interpersonal skills needed to work with distressed and anxious residents, families and staff.
  • The communication skills necessary to counsel residents, families, and staff.
  • The analytical ability to assess patients spiritual needs and sense of well-being and find appropriate solutions to resident problems.
  • A commitment to those experiencing anguish and distress.
  • A commitment to excellence in customer service. Always kind, warm and welcoming displaying Christ like values.
  • Comfortable with prayer and spirituality.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office.
