Join our diverse team today!As part of our After School Program Staff, you will help create a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment so that each child can learn, grow, and thrive while in our care, outside of traditional school day hours. On a regular day, you will be a role model for youth, demonstrate the core values of the Y,develop and lead children in fun and engaging activities, support the secure check-in and check-out of children, and collaborate with team members in supervising groups of children to ensure safety, appropriate behaviors, and licensing compliance. You will ensure appropriate communication is shared amongst team members and to supervisors, documenting all incidents as required and responding to children's needs.To thrive in this position,you must have an interest or experience working directly with children in a recreational or education setting. You understand how to apply rules and provide positive redirection to ensure the safety of children.You are seeking a fulfilling and rewarding job that will expand upon your leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults.
