We are seeking a Cardiology experienced individual to join our team as a Cardiac Device Technician in training. Certified MA, Exercise Physiologist, or other relevant licensure strongly preferred.

What you will learn to do in this role:

• Interrogate, interpret, and re-program cardiac devices with minimal physician supervision
• Troubleshoot critical device issues and take immediate steps toward resolution
• Collaborate with physicians regarding device status and accurately document device analysis in EMR for review
• Ensure charges are accurately captured for device interrogation
• Schedule patients for device appointment follow up in EMR and remote website including immediate/urgent contact with “no show” patients to ensure they are rescheduled

What Qualifications you will need:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cardiology or related field required
• Current certification as Medical Assistant preferred
• Ability to train and pass Cardiac Device Technician certification exam in 2022
