- Medication and appointment reminders * Personal Cares (i.e. assist in dressing, bathing, toileting) * Assisting with schooling and educational needs * Providing entertainment and physical activity when needed
- Ability to recognize cues for and the de-escalation of behaviors specific to each child
- Ability to treat and care for children and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Previous experience working with children with special needs highly preferred
- Prior experience working in an educational/paraprofessional background is beneficial
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are highly encouraged to apply
