CARPENTER:

Introduction:
Pyramid is an award-winning custom builder, specializing in high-end architecturally designed
single-family residential construction. We have been in business for thirty-one years, and in
that time have established a reputation as a premier builder in this segment.

We have an opening in the MD / VA / DC region for a CARPENTER with experience in custom
residential construction at the top end of the quality scale. We are seeking a knowledgeable
team player who puts customer service first, works well with others, and respects our process
to get the job done. This full-time position reports directly to the Site Supervisor.

Overview:
The CARPENTER is responsible for all aspects of custom carpentry, including rough framing,
setting windows, doors, & hardware, exterior trim & soffit work, interior running trim, and site-
manufactured casework. This role requires having the confidence and ability to work under
the direction of the Site Supervisor and with multiple Pyramid & Subcontractor teams on a
daily basis in order to follow through on the expectations set. Meeting and exceeding
company goals for quality execution, efficiency & productivity, as well as customer service, is
something you strive for every day. Schedule flexibility, including some evenings and
weekends, may be required to accommodate schedules and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

§ Complete all work, carpentry and otherwise, as directed by the Site Supervisor.
§ Complete work with the highest quality craftsmanship.
§ Furnish all hand tools and small power tools as necessary to complete job.
§ Follow jobsite safety procedures and point out unsafe conditions.
§ Must have reliable transportation.
§ Ensure jobsite procedures for cleanliness, security & protection from damage.
§ Communicate clearly & effectively with Site Supervisor
§ Have experience and expertise in varied high-end residential construction work.

Requirements:
§ Have a minimum of three years experience & expertise working on high-end residential

construction.
§ Successful candidate will have a focus on attention to detail
§ Vast knowledge of residential construction including knowledge of local building codes
§ Efficiently and effectively resolve project construction issues.
§ Previous supervisory experience and dispute resolution skills is a plus
