Cash Control Team Leader - Executive Director

Overview:
The Credit Administration Group is seeking an Executive Director/Cash Control Team Leader to manage and lead a team of Analysts, working on a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate loans and joint venture equity assets. The team’s core focus lies in four major categories: transaction processing, voucher preparation, sweep/waterfalls, and money movement. The Team Leader will oversee the work produced by the team members and work across internal departments to deliver results.
Responsibilities:
The Cash Control Team Leader will join an accomplished, dynamic group of professionals, providing oversight of the team’s work product, developing, and mentoring team members, and working to help implement new work practices and help the team grow and respond to change. Responsibilities include:
- Manage workload and oversee quality assurance functions
- Oversee the execution of and quality of Cash Control deliverables, such as transaction processing, voucher preparation, sweep/waterfall and money movement, and other ad hoc requests
- Review and update internal policy and procedure documents for Cash Control Team
- Respond to requests of both internal and external auditors and assist in compiling records and responding to questions on process and quality control
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Treasury, Asset Management, Investor Remittance, Servicing Operations, and other internal teams, to integrate our service delivery for our clients
- Develop metrics that both inform and provide insight into the servicing portfolio to make informed future decisions and actions
- And other duties as assigned to continue the growth of the Department and trusting environment for both internal and external clients
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related business field
- 7-10 years of relevant experience, including managing a team
- A thorough understanding of cash processing, sweeps/waterfalls, money movement, as well as audit practices and standards
- A thorough understanding of commercial real estate loan documents and terminology
- Working knowledge of McCracken’s Strategy Loan Servicing System
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Must work with and communicate across all functional lines of the Company’s organization. Cooperation with other employees is required to achieve Company goals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior background managing a cash or money movement team
- Familiarity with database systems uses, and concepts
