Cashier - Part Time Opportunity Available

At City Mill, we count on our Cashiers to interact professionally with our valued customers when they have questions or concerns. We’re looking for a Cashier to join our team, greeting customers, purchases, refunds, exchanges, and suggestive selling.

The ideal Cashier is motivated, friendly, and a team player. Serving as the face of our company, he or she will be integral for our reputation for exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer incoming calls in a professional, timely manner
• Operate a cash register to enter purchases, exchanges, and refunds
• Follows proper cash handling, check and credit card procedures
• Responsible for accurate cash and till for assigned drawer
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register
• Follows all cash handling procedures – meeting and exceeding City Mill standards
• Provide excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
• Ability to provide excellent customer service by identifying customer needs
• No experience necessary, on the job training provided
