A Word from Jen, the owner

I believe in teamwork. I have done every job in the restaurant and will not hesitate to jump on the line or wash dishes. I would never ask someone to do something that I would not or have not done myself. There is no such thing as "not my job."

I believe in balance. Your personal life is important. I never demand OT, it is always optional. I try to make sure you have at least one day off during the weekend, and not to brag but I have a pretty successful record. I am also very flexible when it comes to school schedules, family events, and vacations. We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and I leave all other major holidays up to the staff. As a bonus, we close at 9 and are usually out by 9:30!

I believe in growth. Your growth is OUR success. We are a growing company with lots of opportunities. We promote from within.

I believe in fair compensation. My team members make between $12-$18 an hour depending on the position held. The more you know, the more you get paid. There is no waiting period. The quicker you learn, the faster your pay goes up.

I believe experience is NOT necessary. My very best people had zero experience. I used to be a teacher. There are things that I can teach and things that I can't. I can't teach a good work ethic. I can't teach common sense. I can't teach a desire to learn. Everything else is easy. If you have those 3 qualities, you will be successful here.

I believe in Aloha! That means a life of grace, compassion, kindness and joy. We don't do drama and I am very protective of my Ohana.
