Position: Cath Lab Technician

Location:1600 Medical Parkway Carson City, NV 89703

Shift Information: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Job Duration: 13 weeks contract with an option to extend

Job description- We are looking for a Cath lab technician .Cath lab technicians, also known as cardiac catheterization technologists, are cardiovascular technologists who work in facilities that run tests on heart health. They assist with the insertion of catheters into the heart, and are responsible for measuring and administering special fluids.expectations

Responsibilities-

• Performing lab administrative duties and supply inventory
• Performs inventory management for the Cath Lab
• If applicable, ensure POU items have the appropriate barcodes, ensure items are cross referenced in Optiflex, rotate stock to ensure no items are out of date, react appropriately to POU “critical point” messages and stock outs, provide assistance to the POU Station personnel provide assistance with problems, questions and concerns
• Participates in an environment that ensures quality work, group morale and is conductive to maintaining effective lines of communication
• Demonstrates teamwork approach by assisting coworkers in expediting processes to ensure efficient and effective workflow in the delivery of quality care
• Provides excellent customer service to our patients, physicians, offices and coworkers
• Assists physicians in cases of adverse reaction or in acute emergencies as necessary
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency codes, location of emergency equipment and method of activation

Requirements-

• State license in hand
• BLS
• Covid
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years
• ACLS

Pay $2500 to $3000/Week on W2
