Position Summary
The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Analyst (Senior) will be responsible for:
- developing and completing Joint Staff Action Packages (JSAPs) to accomplish tasks; and
- conducting strategic analysis (and therefore developing and documenting CBRN/Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction [CWMD]-specific Joint Concepts and CBRN/CWMD equities in other Joint Concepts, Capability Based Assessments [CBAs], Integrated Security Constructs, Defense Planning Scenario [DPS] Excursion, and war game vignettes focused on Force Development, Strategic Defense Concepts, and Multi-Service Force Deployment Data Vignettes); or
- developing operational requirements in Chemical/Biological (CB) areas (and therefore overseeing the Analyses of Alternatives; developing requirements documents in coordination with the service and combatant command [CCMD] representatives; organizing and conducting, at least quarterly, an Integrated Concept Team [ICT] meeting with all relevant stakeholders and providing minutes; developing Joint operational requirements by drafting, staffing, and adjudicating requirements documents prior to entering them into Knowledge Management/Decision Support [KM/DS]).
Minimum Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements
- Must possess a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, plus access to Critical Nuclear Weapon Design Information (CWNDI), Formerly Restricted Data (FRD), and Restricted Data (RD)
- At least 15 years' relevant technical experience (comparable to a retired O-5/CWO5 or above or a former GS-14 or above)
- At least 10 years' experience in Joint and/or Service requirements development
- At least five years' experience on the Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), a CCMD and/or a Service staff
- At least 10 years' experience developing doctrine and training/education products
- Must be fully conversant with Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS), demonstrate understanding of the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS), and have knowledge of JSAP-Next
- A relevant MS/MA degree is highly desired
- A relevant Bachelor's degree is required
