Text DRIVERWS to 720-790-7068 to apply today! Shaw is looking for a Delivery Driver that will be based in the Roaring Fork Valley. The Delivery Driver will make deliveries of equipment, material, tools, wood framing panels, etc. to various construction project site locations throughout the Western Slope Monday - Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintains a current Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Prepares DOT required log of time on duty and driving.
• Organizes and secures loads.
• Assists forklift operators when loading.
• Confirms orders for accuracy and makes delivery appointment with Construction Superintendent.
• Unloads/loads materials if necessary, verifying correct location to place delivered items.
• Completes daily pre-inspection.
• Records all equipment or material that is returned to the yard.
• Follows guidelines established by the Department of Transportation.
• Operates all trucks in a safe and efficient manner, maintains records regarding equipment use and time charged.
• Assists supervisor, other associates and other work areas, as assigned.
• Assists in maintaining good housekeeping in the yard.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Required:

• High School GED level education preferred.
• Ability to read orders, write instructions and complete forms.

Certifications / Required Training:

• 12 months of CDL experience including lumber and equipment transport.
• Forklift Certification and Load Securement Certification
• Clean driving record and current Class A CDL or willingness to obtain Class A CDL soon after hire date.

Compensation:

• Pay Type: Hourly
• Pay Range: $25.00 to $33.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
