Job description

Affinity Groundworks is a dynamic, specialty civil construction company working on projects from major companies in the telecommunications industry. Through our parent company, Advanced Trenchless, Inc., we are immediately hiring experienced truck drivers to join our team in current and upcoming projects.

Responsibilities

• Transport and run equipment over land to and from assigned work sites.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Document and log work/rest periods and expenses
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Ability to drive long hours and willingness to travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Clean driving record - no recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid class A driving license and DOT physical

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
