CDL Truck Driver

Classification - Hourly

Salary Grade/Level/Family/Range – $20-$24 per hour depending on experience level

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm with OT as necessary

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Truck Driver to join our team. You will safely and efficiently drive a 26’ box truck shuttling product between our Milford, PA facility and Port Jervis, NY warehouse. Our ideal candidate has a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Forklift certification. You will also be responsible for maintaining vehicles and inventory delivery confirmation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

▪ Loading and unloading of cargo; ensure cargo is secured
▪ Follow all state and national truck driving regulations and standards
▪ Complete any necessary documentation in regards to mileage, fuel, toll expenses, etc. and confirm inventory matches shipping documents

▪ Refuel vehicle and check or replace oil as needed
▪ Inspect truck daily for damage or maintenance problems
▪ Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to supervisors/managers
▪ Maintain vehicle equipment
▪ Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

▪ High School Diploma/GED
▪ Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
▪ 2+ years professional driving experience or related work experience
▪ Must have clean driving record with no recent moving violations
▪ Proficient at driving, maneuvering and parking large vehicles

25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The company will provide hands on training upon hiring for Forklift Operation, GMP, Dress Code, Safety, etc.
