Job description
Dobbes Family Estate located in Dundee, Oregon is hiring for a Permanent Cellar Assistant position. We are a diverse company with two different cellars that produce three in-house labels, in addition to several custom crush labels. This position is for our smaller production Super Premium Winery.
LIVE certified in 2020, about 60% of our fruit is certified by LIVE, Demeter, or Oregon Tilth, AND that number is growing. Our environment is important, but just as important to us here at Dobbes, is respect, and equity. We take a great deal of pride in taking care of our work “family”.
Our winery processes on average 300 tons of fruit and super premium Pinot noir production is at the heart of what we do. Though Pinot is our passion, a cellar tech here would work with Syrah, Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Grenache and anything else our team might fancy. You would help us make sparkling wine, and blend into a 10-year-old Solera. Innovation and Creativity drive many of the decisions we make so opportunities abound.
