Position Highlights

Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, located in West Lafayette is seeking two full-time, year-round cemetery grounds maintenance crewmembers to join our growing team. As the only full-service cemetery and funeral home operation in the region, we are seeking dedicated professionals whose top priority is customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Ideal for those with a background in maintenance, landscaping, masonry or heavy equipment operation in any industry. All applicants must possess:

· A valid Driver’s License and completed background check

· Ability to work in all weather conditions, outdoors

· Ability to lift 50 pounds

· Operate a variety of motorized equipment

· Expected shift Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM

· Some weekend shifts may be required

Responsibilities

This position requires a variety of tasks including but not limited to general cemetery landscaping and maintenance, memorial placement or repair, burial space set up, grave excavation, snow removal, and general building maintenance. The Superintendent on site will direct activities daily depending upon the current need. The Superintendent will also direct all training activities.
