Team Rehab is a network of therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy clinics in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Georgia.
Our mission is to provide the best outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. We want our patients to enjoy therapy and experience clear improvements in their health. Responsibilities
As an athletic trainer, you are the central connection within a collaborative sports medicine team that includes AT, MD, and PT representatives. In this role, you will oversee the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of athletes during practice and competition coverage. Other responsibilities include field and venue setup, orthopedic assessments, documentation, and communication with team physicians, physical therapists, parents and school representatives. In this role, teamwork truly makes the dream work!
SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
- Collaboration: Work effectively with local physical therapy team and team physicians providing collaborative care in the best interest of the athlete to ensure a fast and safe return to sport.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships throughout the community that allow ease of access and streamlining of care for patients and athletes.
- Partner and School Satisfaction: Maintain strong professional relationships and communication with school AD, physicians, and Team Rehab clinicians
- A-Game Attitude: Showcase a desire to connect with athletes in a respectful, positive manner • Athlete Outcomes: Ensure high quality care to get your athlete back in the game
- Responsible for maintaining and strengthening Team Rehabilitation affiliation relationships
- Provide onsite athletic training services at practices, assigned games, and scrimmages
- Responsible for continuing to develop their own skills by attending company continuing education events and using the continuing education allowance to attend approved courses
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Graduate from a CAATE accredited Athletic Training program
- Athletic Training Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers
- Licensed as an Athletic Trainer
- Strong communication skills to manage the triage of athletes for further care and in developing relationships with the athletes, parents, coaches and school personnel
