• The Lifeguard’s primary responsibility is the safety of the owners and guests at the resort.
• This position is the first responder for any incident that may occur in the pool area(s).
• They will be required to provide medical attention or conduct a water rescue if necessary.

• Monitor the pool and surrounding areas.
• Ensure that the pool area is safe and secure at all times.
• Communicate with guests to make them aware of the safety rules of the pool area(s).
• Provide medical attention and conduct water rescues if necessary.
• Assist with resort activities and events in the pool area.

• Certified or ability to become certified: CPR / First Aid certified, Water Safety.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with employees, guest and owners.
• Possess ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• A professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with team focus.
