Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess boat systems and/or engines to accurately diagnose issues

Complete necessary repairs to boat systems and/or engines

Keep an accurate log of all work performed

Maintain and clean shop equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in a safe and usable condition at all times

Adhere to company work safety policies

Additional Responsibilities:

Provides own tools to complete maintenance tasking

Arrives to work on time

Positive interaction between supervisors, peers, and other coworkers

Follows and supports company policy

Accepts constructive criticism and can adjust/change to combat those criticisms

Maintains professional appearance

Physical Requirements:

Lift and carry over 25 lbs routinely and up to 60 lbs occasionally

Occasionally lifting and/or moving shop materials

Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, push, pull, work at heights, and in tight, cramped spaces at times

Must be able to work in a shop environment for 8+ hours, occasional work outside will be required

License/Certification:

Mercury, Yamaha, and/or Suzuki outboard certification(s)

Driver's License and Social Security number

Other Requirements:

Requires flexibility with work schedule to include possible early start times, late stop times, and some weekends (overtime offered)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
