Part-time w/Benefits
Shifts: T: 7:30-12, W: 12:30-5 TH: 8:30-5, F: 9:30-5
**$5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus for eligible candidates, paid over 12 months

Responsibilities:

Provide professional clinical services for patients following established practice standards and clinical protocols.
  • Room patients and obtain vital signs.
  • Assist provider with patient examination, treatment and minor surgical procedures.
  • Perform specimen collection, phlebotomy and specimen analysis.
  • Medication and/or vaccine administration.
  • Care Coordination via medication refills, prior authorizations and referral scheduling.
  • Test result management and tracking as determined by provider.
  • Return patient calls and inquiries via phone or patient portal.
Qualifications:
Aside from building relationships, exceeding patient expectations and having fun while you work, the following apply:
  • Current certification as a medical assistant
  • High School Diploma - if working in moderately complex CLIA lab
  • BLS/Mandatory Reporter
  • Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A positive and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to assist providers in professional manner
