Description:

**Mixture of Clinical and Clerical Triage of incoming patients by obtaining vital signs, chief complaint, reconcile medication list, reconcile allergies and prepare patient for the visit. Scan upcoming appointments and obtain all pertinent medical records and test relating to the office visit – ED records, CT/MRI reports, operative reports and consult report. Client JD:  Obtain patient history and vitals, remove staples/sutures.  Prepare rooms for patients, assisting physicians with minor surgeries, direct patient care.  Assist with completion of necessary paperwork.  Answer phone, make appointments, and return patient calls.  Cross train with MA/LPN clinical staff  Appropriate documentation interventions in the electronic medical record, review charts for completeness, test results, and billing.  Scan upcoming appointments for additional medical record information.  Respond to questions from patients, family members, facility/residents, and other health care providers in a timely and professional manner.  Participate in all staff meetings, education lectures, and improvement activities.  Performs other duties as assigned.
