Grow Pediatrics is an established, family-owned, clinic which provides exceptional pediatric primary care. Our team consists of pediatric providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff. We are looking for a certified medical assistant to join our staff at our Richfield location.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide direct patient care support and assist providers as instructed.
- Room patients and take vitals and brief medical histories.
- Perform hearing & vision screenings and other tasks related to annual/sports physicals
- Perform on-site lab procedures (strep & flu tests, wbc, urinalysis, etc.)
- Triage patients over the phone.
- Assist providers in performing procedures.
- Maintain patient clinical records.
- Perform related work as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Previous clinic setting experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work with a fluctuation in workload
- Proficient at using computer programs
- Demonstrated focus on customer service/patient service with every interaction
- Excellent public relations and communication skills
- Ability to work as an effective team member to provide exceptional care
- Ability to embrace change
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate critical thinking skills and engage in ongoing process improvement
