Sutter East Bay Medical Group is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife (job-share/.5 FTE) to join the OB/CNM Hospitalist Program at the Alta Bates Medical Center (ABMC) in Berkeley, CA.

• This unique position would require 1.0 FTE work for 4-8 weeks (three 12 hr shifts per week) rotating with an equal number of weeks off.
• Alta Bates (Berkeley, CA) is a regional referral center with a level 3 NICU.
• Our team serves two perinatology groups and several FQHCs. We attend all out-of-hospital (birth center and homebirth) transfers and all unassigned patients.
• While the CNMs care for all low risk inductions and labors, we also care for many moderate and high-risk pregnancies.
• The CNMs enjoy working supportively and collaboratively with the OB and MFM team.
• Our staffing consists of two OBs and one CNM for 12 hours shifts and one OB rounder every day.

Requirements:

• An active and unrestricted CA license
• Current DEA license
• Graduate of an accredited nurse-midwifery program
