Job Summary:
Buena Vista Healthcare is searching for a great
Certified Nursing Assistant to perform a combination of duties in caring for residents in the center, consistent with the plan of care and established long-term care standards.
Essential Functions:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, personal hygiene, toileting, and attend changes as needed.
- Pass medications and complete treatments as ordered by physician
- Assist residents with or provide transportation to and from meals.
- Assist dietary staff with serving meals and beverages
- Make resident beds and change linens.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
- Demonstrates self-motivation, self-direction, and dependability.
- Ability to work in a sometimes fast paced environment and relate to patient, family and long-term care staff.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person.
- Must have current certification in the state of employment.
- Must have or be will to obtain a Medication Delegation Certification
