BrightStar Care of Naperville is looking for a certified nursing assistant or licensed practical nurse to join our team. We have an opportunity to provide care for a pediatric client with sleep apnea and downs syndrome.
For this position we would need someone with consistent availability and at least one year of experience.

BrightStar Care of Naperville is looking for a certified nursing assistant or licensed practical nurse to join our team. We have an opportunity to provide care for a pediatric client with sleep apnea and downs syndrome.

- Implement treatment and plan of care, using sound judgment and critical thinking
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing processes
- Perform all skill, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice as defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment
- Ride the bus with the child to school, spend the day with them there, and then ride the bus home
- Current Illinois LPN License in good standing or certification as a CNA
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is required
- Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the client
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
- Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image.
- Works as a team member.
- Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information.
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
