• This person is a multi-skilled equipment operator who has the abilities to, and is fully skilled and qualified to operate (at various times on an as needed basis) either a continuous miner, roof bolter, shuttle car, ram car, mobile bridge carrier or scoop in a safe, productive and efficient manner.

Additionally, this person may be required to perform non-equipment operator tasks and duties such as shoveling, building/maintaining ventilation controls, assisting in various maintenance and repair duties on mine equipment and other manual related tasks and duties as needed.
