Position Purpose/Summary: Subject matter expert for processing, balancing, and supporting all aspects of the check payment system for the Credit Union. The Check Payments Specialist processes and balances ATM check deposits, review to decision remotely deposited items (RDC), decisions daily In clearings and ONUS exceptions, and processes daily check adjustments and returns. In addition, the Check Payments Specialist provides daily support to, the ACH Payments Specialist by creating ACH Origination records on member accounts, and Wire Specialist by providing critical verification of member wires to prevent fraudulent activity.

Education & Experience: We pride ourselves in our advocacy for education, growth, and opportunity for experience at Visions FCU. Requires minimum of an associate’s degree in finance or business with financial services and/or office operations experience, cash and check handling experience preferred.
