Wisconsin Whey Protein provides high quality milk protein ingredients to manufacturers of food and beverage products worldwide. Our products are produced in custom built facilities in Darlington and Turtle Lake Wisconsin.

Immediate openings are available for highly motivated and reliable individuals to work in cheese production. You will work with cheese processing, automated packaging and sanitation systems & equipment. This position will work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend with possible required overtime. Pay based on experience!

Hours Would be 9pm to 9am.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Have knowledge of and understand all equipment involved in the cheese making process.
• Accurately follow directions of immediate supervisor.
• Checks and documents product at the probe stations, and cheese scale.
• Be able to perform duties using chemicals for cleaning and sanitation of the equipment at the end of the make day.
• Report and follow up on all repairs of equipment as needed.
• Comply with all safe quality foods (SQF), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) and allergen awareness standards.
• Perform all other assignments as required

Qualification/Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Must be available to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Consistent and punctual attendance required.
• Pre-employment drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and hear.
• The employee is required to use hands and fingers to operate handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employees will be required to bend and twist regularly.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous physical labor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
