Job description
Our Chemistry Technician will work with the national leader in industrial chemistry.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will assist the senior staff with testing, test development, test equipment development or other projects as needed. Some of the projects that we are working on are:
- Thin layer chromatography testing development
- Flash point testing of fluids
- Flammability of aerosols test development
- Tribological testing for development of lubricants
Beyond these projects there may be opportunities to learn about other aspects of such as:
- Product assembly
- Compressor repair
- High-voltage system maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Upper-level student or recent graduates in the chemical or mechanical engineering disciplines, chemistry, physics or other related fields.
PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience in a chemical laboratory or industrial manufacturing is a plus.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
