**This position is located in Flandreau, SD**
The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe is looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to help its rapidly growing enterprises. The role of the CISO will be to plan, develop, direct, and operate an innovative, trusted, and reliable information security program. The CISO will serve as a key member of the leadership team as the company's chief point-of-contact for information security.
- Briefs CIO and other executives regularly on current cybersecurity threats and challenges, and the status of the information security management system.
- Continuously and measurably improves information security.
- Implements, oversees, and audits cybersecurity identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery processes and systems.
- A bachelor's degree in Cyber Security Management, Cyber Operations, or a related field. An MS in a Cyber Security is preferred.
- A minimum of seven years' experience in risk management, information security, or programming is required.
