Kidz City Learning Center is a ministry of Center Point Church, located in North Richland Hills, TX. We are a full-time Christian-based preschool for children ages six weeks to 5 years old and an after-school program for kids kindergarten through age 10. Kidz City is a place where kids live, laugh, and learn. They are taught not only their A, B, C’s but are also given a firm foundation of the truths of Jesus Christ and Christian principles. It is a fun environment for kids to grow socially, physically, cognitively, and spiritually.

Kidz City is now accepting applications for the position of Childcare Teacher. This could be a full or part-time position. The hours will be between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Live out and promote the staff values as outlined in the CPC and Kidz City Staff Handbooks.
• Plan and implement the daily curriculum for children in the classroom.
• Oversee and coordinate the children’s personal care, hygiene, learning activities, specialized programs and positive guidance.
• Maintain classroom records and developmental checklist.
• Ensure that classroom and other play areas are consistently clean and safe.
• Inform parents of their children’s progress on a daily basis.
• Supervise and direct activities of an assistant teacher assigned to the classroom.
• Keep director informed on a timely basis of pertinent issues regarding staff, children, families, and the program.

Requirements:

• 18 Years of age or older
• High School Diploma
• One to three years’ experience in a childcare setting is preferred, but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.50 per hour

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
