Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing any previous health documentation, as indicated.
- Evaluate patients for neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions that may benefit from chiropractic care and provide appropriate diagnosis.
- Perform manual, drop and instrument assisted adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to address identified health issues and concerns, where necessary.
- Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and how it may improve their quality of life. Develop and communicate a recommended course of treatment that is appropriate for each patient.
- Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
- Create accurate and timely patient records.
- Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
- Provide referrals for diagnostic x-rays to be taken or other healthcare services, when medically necessary.
- Provide chiropractic care following professional standards and ongoing education.
- Build positive doctor-patient relationships through great communication.
- Contribute to the overall financial success of the clinic through the recommendation of appropriate plans and packages.
- Maintain professional atmosphere in the clinic and follow The Joint Chiropractic’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications needed:
- A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
- Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
- Valid DC license in the applicable state or ability to acquire one
- Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
