GPI is seeking a mid-level civil/site land development design drafter/engineer for an immediate opening in our Buffalo, NY office to assist with a variety of land planning projects.

Responsibilities:
- Candidates should have a working knowledge of the design process for various commercial, private and/or municipal projects; along with familiarity with the following reference standards; NYS stormwater management guidelines, ADA guidelines, and NYS standard specifications
- The individual must be an enthusiastic and motivated candidate with experience in the design of subdivisions and site plans, roadways, drainage, waterline, sanitary sewer, grading, and erosion and sedimentation control plans
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in land development or civil engineering projects in New York, private experience preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D programs is mandatory
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
- Possess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job site
- Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
- Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
