Stanton Carpet Corporation, a leading provider of decorative floorcoverings, has an exciting opportunity for the right individual to assume claim processing responsibilities at our Calhoun, GA, operations center and will report directly to the Quality Control manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • File claims information in AS400.
  • Evaluate and resolve customer claims for carpet, rugs and LVT.
  • Correspond internally and with customers regarding claims, installation, and technical topics.
  • Issue return authorizations, schedule freight pick up, and handle claim-related freight issues.
  • Assist customers with rug claims and associated repairs.
  • Interact with QC department as required.
  • Inspect Rug replacements when required.
  • Enter replacement orders for claims.
  • Work with Technical services to research claim issues and resolve customer complaints when required.
  • Work with shipping to resolve shipping errors and expedite rush orders.
  • Issue credits to customers for approved claims.
  • Work with the credit department to approve replacements, resolve credit disputes, and request customer refunds.
  • Demonstrate a willingness and ability to handle claims for a diverse range of products.
  • Provide an unsurpassed level of service to our customers.
Qualifications
  • Team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • 3 plus years of claims experience required.
  • Proven progression and achievement in previously held positions.
  • Previous experience in the processing of floor covering claims preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • AS400 experience required.
  • Strong work ethic, creativity and a passion for customer care.
