Total Distribution, Inc. is a branch of Peoples Services, Inc.which is a growing network of 3PL companies that provide quality supply chain logistics and transportation services. Peoples Services operates over 7.5 million square feet of public and contract warehouse space in 42 facilities across seven states. Our warehouses specialize in food grade storage and handling, polymers, plastics, chemicals and customized packaging and fulfillment services. Warehouses are located in Michigan down to Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. Our warehouse locations, in-house transportation and brokerage services, company owned fleet of trucks and experienced supply chain team give us the leverage to provide efficient, reliable supply chain services.

We are looking for a Class A CDL Driver for local/regional runs of freight. Home most nights. Home on weekends. We offer a competitive wage structure based on percentage with benefits, and the ability to operate top equipment. Non-union.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.
• Maintains delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments; recording tracking information; completing driver log and truck performance forms.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year verifiable driving experience.
• Clean MVR.
• Must be dependable and able to handle every day work pressures.
• Must be able to work efficiently to meet time and quantity deadlines.
• Ability to communicate issues with delivery or shipment to dispatch for resolution as the need arises.
• Ability to work as a team member with peers.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screening.
• DOT Physical required.
